Physical Therapy

Physical therapy can help restore and improve functionality, reduce pain and increase mobility for improved strength and balance. In addition, the need for physical therapy and rehabilitation following surgery or injury is also quite common. That’s why our team creates personalized rehabilitation programs to fit the specific needs of each patient.

Physical therapy following a hospitalization can be especially important, as it helps prevent complications such as falls, infection, reduced strength and endurance, as well as general pain. It can also help to restore confidence and independence, making it easier to complete daily tasks and improving overall health.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy is often necessary for those who have experienced a sudden illness, injury or challenge associated with aging, such as a stroke or dementia. While the ability to communicate effectively is important at any age, for seniors it can be absolutely vital.

Our speech pathologists not only work closely with clients, they also coordinate with your doctor to provide a comprehensive evaluation and create individualized programs of recovery to increase language function and communication. Our speech pathologists also address swallowing issues by introducing modifications to diet and incorporating special feeding techniques.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy promotes independence and helps seniors to live more productive and fulfilling lives by providing meaningful activities to strengthen everyday skills. Primarily reinforcing self-reliance, our occupational therapists help clients overcome physical limitations and challenges so they can get back to taking care of their own activities of daily life, including dressing, bathing, grooming and more.

Our highly qualified occupational therapists take a holistic approach to care. This can include evaluating home environments, educating family members and caregivers and connecting them with the resources they need, as well as encouraging individuals to become active participants in their own recovery.
