An Independent Living resident was recently admitted to the hospital. For a resident who owns a pet, such a time is always a big concern. Not to worry, their neighbor graciously offered to take care of her two dogs for however long was needed. It ended up being over a week that the neighbor lovingly cared for her two guests! This was also not the first time this resident has taken on extra responsibility to help a Legacy neighbor in need. Compassion is a Legacy core value and has become part of our culture. Such principles are on display daily not only by team members, but also by residents and their families – it is The Legacy way!
