This week, residents at The Legacy Midtown Park and The Legacy Willow Bend partnered with The Legacy at Home to assemble Misloach Manot Purim boxes/bags. Over 150 Purim gifts will go to the JFS Holocaust survivor program, Chai House residents, and our beloved Legacy at Home grant clients. Gifts included hamantaschens, groggers, sweet snacks, and masquerade masks.
“Our hope is to touch the heart of our community survivors and provide a little extra joy and really cherish the opportunity to celebrate together,” said Faith Retsky, The Legacy at Home Community Relations Liasion. She continued, “The bonds of community and building relationships go beyond caring for our seniors. Having the opportunity to spread joy with Misloach Manot to the Chai residents unites us together to bring harmony and Shalom to people of all ages.”
Together, The Legacy is spreading smiles and warmth this Purim season!
