A Soulful Story: Note from a Grateful Family

November 17, 2023

"Feeding the Jewish Soul" is a weekly series offering insights into The Legacy's daily impact on the seniors we serve.

To the wonderful staff at The Legacy Midtown Park,

My husband was a patient of the Healthcare Center for several weeks and passed recently. He was on hospice for the last week or so.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone on the first floor for the wonderful care, kindness, and compassion throughout his stay. He could not have been anywhere else and received outstanding care, but even more, everyone on the floor was so kind to me. They made me realize how lucky we are to have such an outstanding facility in Dallas.

All the nurses and aides; Chamilia, Martha, Sylvia, Sherry, Olivia, and especially Beverly Jennings, head of nursing. After my husband went into hospice, The Legacy at Home staff was so kind and considerate to the family and allowed us to mourn in his room.

The love and support helped sustain his family during this difficult time.

Yours truly,
A Grateful Family
