“The show must go on” has been the motto at The Legacy Midtown Park after a beloved team member resigned, leaving the Independent Living Lifestyles position vacant. Thanks in large part to Lorelei Pinada, Director of Resident Engagement at The Legacy Willow Bend, there has not been a slowdown in activities or social events. While maintaining her responsibilities at Willow Bend, Lorelei has also been at Midtown Park planning and executing outings, activities, and happy hours, all while making sure Shabbat services stay on track in all levels of care. During this transition, Lorelei has exemplified leadership, dedication, creativity, and grace. Thanks to Lorelei, residents at both campuses have had great starts to their summers and look forward to what’s to come soon!

Every year, The Legacy Senior Communities Foundation, with support from The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, provides more than $1 million in charitable care to Jewish seniors in the Dallas area. This care includes resident support and thousands of hours of Personal Assistance Services provided by The Legacy at Home grant program.
It is the community’s continued support that leaves an imprint on the present and future of our organization, creating a level of distinction we call The Legacy Difference. This distinction includes Jewish life initiatives, Kosher dining programming, social events and activities, resident transportation, security, and much more!
