Every day we encounter people that touch our lives in small ways or in ways that we may not know until a later time. This happened recently to one Legacy team member. She encountered Rabbi Cohen, Director of Rabbinical Services and Pastoral Care, in a casual conversation that resulted in Rabbi giving a blessing. This particular team member is not normally an outwardly religious person, yet she found that the encounter left her feeling as though a weight had been lifted from her shoulders. She advised that things in her life, both personally and professionally, began changing in a positive way. She said that for the past two months, it is as though there is clarity in her life. She feels as though Rabbi Cohen’s blessing has had far-reaching effects on her life. Rabbi Cohen’s presence and care for the Jewish and non- Jewish team members distinguishes The Legacy from just being a workplace, but rather a family for our employees.
