While the big day has passed, you can still make a difference TODAY! The Legacy Senior Communities fundraises for the Financial Assistance Fund year-round.
Last year, this vital fund provided:
- Care for 32 Medicaid (long-term, skilled nursing patients)
- Rental assistance for 6 residents at The Legacy Midtown Park
- Scholarships for 27 seniors Personal Assistance Services from The Legacy at Home
There is a waitlist for all our financial assistance programs!
Services benefit seniors who would otherwise not be able to experience The Legacy’s distinguished Jewish lifestyle and excellent medical care.
Since The Legacy’s founding in 1953, we have remained loyal to our mission to help those who cannot help themselves, especially at this critical time in their lives when seniors should be living with the utmost comfort and dignity. Every year, The Legacy Senior Communities Foundation, with support from The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, provides more than $1 million in charitable care to Jewish seniors in the Dallas area. This care includes resident support and thousands of hours of Personal Assistance Services provided by The Legacy at Home grant program.
It is the community’s continued support that leaves an imprint on the present and future of our organization, creating a level of distinction we call The Legacy Difference. This distinction includes Jewish life initiatives, Kosher dining programming, social events and activities, resident transportation, security, and much more!
