Recently several team members, including the leadership team, were in a meeting in a Legacy board room. A resident fell just outside the meeting room and was not able to get up on her own. One leadership team member immediately called for a nurse, while another swiftly arrived with a wheelchair and several others did what they could to assist. All the while, one team member sat down on the floor next to the resident and provided comfort and care until help arrived.
While it was an unfortunate situation, it was a beautiful example of the excellent, compassionate care that the entire Legacy team – starting from the top – provides for our residents.
