Vaxed to the max! The Legacy team is now 100% vaccinated.

The Legacy Senior Communities happily announces that all team members are 100% COVID vaccinated across all entities, including The Legacy Willow Bend, The Legacy Midtown Park, and The Legacy at Home which offers home health, personal assistance, and hospice care. Additionally, all permanent residents have been vaccinated.

This effort was put together out of the company’s steadfast commitment to their residents. Understanding the various vaccination concern, the company implemented its “Race to 100” program, which was a friendly competition among the different Legacy entities intended to educate staff about the benefits of immunization while providing incentives and opportunities for open discussion.

“We didn’t take this mandate lightly,” said Legacy Senior Communities CEO Melissa Orth, “We understand that vaccination is a personal decision which requires careful consideration, but we felt the safety of our residents must be our highest priority.”

“It’s amazing, and I’m proud of my team for making this happen. To my knowledge, The Legacy at Home is the only home health or hospice company in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area that is now 100% vaccinated across all caregivers,” according to The Legacy at Home Executive Director Jessica Haecker.

“I’m absolutely thrilled with the response of our team members. So many have risen to the occasion because they believe in what we do and they truly love our residents” said Orth. “The Legacy Senior Communities will continue to make challenging decisions to keep all their residents safe.”
