Your generous financial support allows us to make a real difference in the lives of seniors and their families, giving them a better quality of life, a life where they can continue to learn, grown and find fulfillment. There are a number of ways you can give, or programs you can choose to support, including donating to our annual operating budget so we can help more seniors who are unable to meet the cost of their care, as well as enhance the services and amenities that are a hallmark of The Legacy Senior Communities.

In an effort to meet the demand and changing lifestyles of Jewish seniors and their families, we are pleased to announce the creation of a new, state-of-the-art rental-based Jewish continuing care retirement community in Dallas – The Legacy Midtown Park. To make this dream a reality, we are embarking on a $15 million donor-driven capital campaign to raise the equity required to finance this development. In addition, donations will go to The Legacy Midtown Park Resident Financial Assistance Fund, which will help us subsidize housing and care for seniors at all levels of the community.
Can I make a donation in someone’s honor?
Yes, of course. This is a wonderful way to honor the memory of a friend or family member, or to commemorate a holiday, birthday, wedding or other special occasion. Once a donation of this sort is set up, a card is then mailed to the gift recipient as notification of your contribution to The Legacy Senior Communities.
When I donate to The Legacy Senior Communities, and who does it help?
An unspecified donation to The Legacy Senior Communities goes into our Resident Financial Assistance Fund and is made available for the benefit of individuals across all of our communities and services. If you’d like, you can also specify which community or service you want to support.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, as we are a not-for-profit charitable organization, donations are tax deductible. Upon receipt of your gift, a receipt will be mailed to you for tax purposes. Our Federal Tax ID number or Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 03-0435268.
Will The Legacy Senior Communities accept matching gifts?
Yes, matching gifts are accepted. In fact, if you or one of your family members works for an organization with a matching gift program, that can allow you to double or even triple your gift. Because each company has a different set of instructions for matching an employee gift, please see your company’s Human Resources Department for details.
